STUDENT LEADERS 2019
Today the Yr 5 students and teachers listened to the 26 students who are striving to be a student leader next year.
The students showed great maturity and spoke eloquently about the school and what they can do as student leaders.
The election took place electronically today and the results will be announced at the 3-6 Presentation Day.
STATIONERY REQUIREMENTS 2019
The stationery requirements for each grade in 2019 will be sent to all families through the Skoolzine App in a few weeks. This may help parents over the school holidays.
STUDENT INVOICES
At the end of the year the school will be finishing up our financial details. It is important that any unpaid invoices are fully paid by the end of term. Many of the resources and excursions are important parts of student learning and can only be organised by the school when invoices are paid. I encourage you to continue your support of our educational programs.

The bands, string ensembles, guitar groups and choirs will help us celebrate Christmas with our traditional carols night on FRIDAY 7 DECEMBER AT 6PM.

Have a great Christmas and New Year!
Thank you to all the students and parents who have made this is a busy yet fulfilling year of music. You’ve worked hard, and in doing so you’ve helped build what is fast becoming a fantastic music program (if it’s not already!).
Thank you to our director Mr Mansukhani for all of his work and extra time he devotes to the school, and a huge thank you to our volunteers, especially to Joanne Wang, Atsuko Porman, Iris Zhang and Rose Huang. We’ll miss you when you’re gone!
And you know what that means??
It means there is space for some new volunteers to come in and be a part of this musical family. Thank you to those who have already offered some time.
The committee is run entirely by volunteers, busy parents just like yourselves, so lots of help is needed to make sure we have enough money to buy new instruments and music, keep them insured when they’re left in the playground, arranging all the tutorial times, rehearsal times, trips outside of school, involvement in competitions and eisteddfods, communicating with over 100 families, liaising with the school, and making decisions that affect the opportunities our students get. And so much more … !!
I look forward to working with some of you next year and getting to know the talented students we have coming on board.
Have a great holiday and a well-earned break!
