MULTICULTURAL SPRING FAIR
A huge thank you to the P&C and the parents behind the organisation of this weekends Multicultural Spring Fair. We are looking forward to a wonderful day celebrating our school community.
VIRAL INFECTIONS
As a part of growing up, children often become ill and infected with a virus that can cause fever, vomiting and diarrhea. It is imperative that if your child becomes ill and has the mentioned symptoms they must not come to school for at least 24-48 hours after to avoid spread of infection.
We know and understand that everyone has work committments and at times it is hard to juggle work and family, especially when someone needs to be cared for at home. However, please remember there are almost 1300 students here at Artarmon and the spread of infection can cause a huge impact on other students and families.
REACH ASSESSMENTS
This year students from 3-6 completed the UNSW REACH assessments in Digital Technologies, English and Mathematics. This was in place of the ICAS assessments as they were only offered as an online option this year.
These tests were not a competition, however, provided the school with assessment data teachers could access to drive their teaching and learning activities.
Students certificates will be printed in the coming weeks and distributed through the classroom teachers.
ART SHOW
Students and teachers have been viewing the art today. Parents are invited to attend this afternoon between 2.30- 3.30pm. Bidding has started to heat up!
