THANK YOU FROM STUDENTS AND TEACHERS
What a fantastic day Sunday was at our Multicultural Fair. Families, community, teachers and even the Mayor of Willoughby were seen enjoying the activities, entertainment and of course the food.
It was a wonderful community day and would not have been possible without the exceptional work done behind the scenes by Jackie Sternfield and Tiffany Fraser. Thank you to them and all the volunteers for their contribution on the day.
Lots of photos are available in the Newsflash and also on the website.

After several months of training, Sean has signed a contract with Sydney FC .
Thank you to all who came and enjoyed our Multicultural Fair on the weekend. The weather held out all day for us to have a great time and enjoy all our variety of different cuisines, play some great games, bowl some cricket balls and enjoy craft activities. Our children had their faces painted or a tattoo or some henna designs, listened to our brilliant bands, strings and guitar groups as well as watching all the dancing and karate demonstrations. I hope you all won some great prizes in our balloon pop and lucky dip and got some great bargains at our book and toy stalls.
It was great to see our volunteers at work, socialising and having fun and a special thanks to the teachers that gave up their weekend to help us out as well.
All the Art work by our classes were amazing and there are some lucky children out there whose parents won them at the auction.
The raffle winners are, thank you all for selling them.

Musica Viva in Kindergarten
Over the past couple of weeks, Kindergarten have been busily preparing for the Wyniss, Musica Viva performance. We’ve learnt about the people of Mua Island and how their life is different to our life in Artarmon. We also made our own interpretation of a headdress.
Kindergarten listened to some traditional Torres Strait Islander instruments like the pulga, the murap and the thoeram. We then drew what we thought the music looked like.
Band parents, please check Newsflash weekly for the latest news and reminders, we will publish advance dates as soon as we know them to help you plan your year!
