PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
It was wonderful to have a crowd back in the hall this morning for the String groups to perform at the annual Mothers Day performance. A huge thank you must go to Ellen Hird, our wonderful Strings Coordinator, and her team of volunteers that help manage and support Mr Mansukhani and the students.

Happy Mothers Day
To all our amazing mothers, grandmothers and carers. Without you, we wouldn't have all of your amazing children at school to teach everyday. You should all be very proud of what you do and the wonderful children you have and continue to raise each day. I hope you have a wonderful day on Sunday and get to spend quality time with your babies and make some wonderful family memories.
SZapp notifications
We have been notified by the Schoolzine company, that run our school SZapp, that the push notifications are currently not working and they are trying to fix the issue. All alerts will be sent via email as well, so please continue to check your emails.
Applying for Extended Leave
Please remember that it is a legal requirement for children to attend school every day that it is open and extended leave for holidays is not automatically granted. We understand that through the pandemic families have been separated and are longing to see each other again. If you are planning to visit family and see loved ones again, please plan to do this during the school holiday periods. If there are extenuating circumstances that impact this, please contact the school.
Morning Supervision - Student Safety
Teacher supervision in the playgrounds starts in the morning from 8:25am. Students should not be dropped off before 8:25am and left in the playground unsupervised. This is unsafe and creates a duty of care risk for the school. If you need to go to work early it is your responsibility to find an alternative solution for the care of your child/children.
Cross Country
A huge thank you to Mrs Donohoe and Mrs Agnew for their hard work and organisation of the cross country carnival. Although the track was changed slightly due to the wet and slippery bush track, the students had a great day and it was great to have a sunny day.
Congratulations to all the students for running and to those who have been selected to represent Artarmon at the Zone Carnival.
