Welcome to Week 4. I hope all our families celebrated and remembered the mothers in our lives over the weekend and spent quality time with family. Congratulations to our Orchestra and String ensembles for their outstanding Mother's Day concert last week. Our students, music directors, teachers and parent volunteers have yet again blown me away with their amazing talent.

Congratulations JOYCE!

An amazing achievement by one of our very own talented Artarmon students, Joyce Sun. Joyce has been selected to represent NSW at the National Tennis championship in Brisbane later this year. This is an outstanding effort and we are so proud of her and her efforts.

I asked Joyce to write us a brief summary to share with our community.

I drove to Melbourne with my Mum and Dad to play in the Under 11’s National Tennis Camp (this is for the top 8 girls and top 8 boys around Australia). I played tennis at Melbourne Park. The camp was lots of training and lots of fun, it was really good to see my tennis friends again.

Then I went to Albury to represent Sydney North Tennis at the NSWPSSA championship. I played in the singles and the doubles. It was super fun. I got to play against my friends and against other people I didn’t know. In the tournament my team came second. I won most of my matches and I lost only one. After the tiring four days it was time to announce who got in the Bruce Cup. There were 7 girls and 7 boys who got chosen to go. I’m excited to go in October to Brisbane to represent NSW to play against other states.    

Parent Teacher Interviews

Our parent teacher interviews are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday 28th and 29th June between 1pm - 7pm each day.

The schedule and booking information will come out next week once finalised.

The interviews will be held in the library and families will be able to book one, ten minute, face to face interview per child with the classroom teacher.

Third Party Software agreement.

Today families would have received an email for permission for students to use third party software to enhance educational programs in the classroom. Each program listed needs individual permission and detail is provided in the note.

SEMESTER ONE REPORTS

Our Semester one reports will be uploaded to your School Bytes parent portal.

All parents need to be registered and linked to your child/ren on the parent portal to access your end of Semester reports which are being released in Week 9.

Please note School Bytes parent portal is a webpage that is different to the SZapp.
