On Tuesday 9th May, the Green Team launched NUDE FOOD TUESDAY at Artarmon Public School. Every Tuesday, students have been encouraged to bring food without single use packaging.

It’s been exciting to see students get behind this initiative, with some classes achieving 100% nude food on Tuesdays! Every fortnight, classes in Year 3-6 with the most nude food have been awarded the Green Team award during Stage assemblies. We are pleased to announce the following award winners for Term 2:

With only one week more to go, we look forward to announcing the Term 2 Green Team winners of the special movie lunchtime for those classes that have achieved the most nude food over the term. A special mention goes to 5TH who have averaged 95% of the class with nude food over the term so far. Well done, 5TH and well done to Artarmon Public School! We’ve taken a huge step towards reducing waste in the playground and the environment.

The Green Team look forward to extending NUDE FOOD TUESDAY to the whole school in Terms 3 and 4.
