RUN 2 CURE SCHOOL CHALLENGE

Run2Cure is a fun run on Sunday 2 June in Sydney’s iconic Domain which aims to raise awareness of the children’s cancer called neuroblastoma; a disease which claims more lives of children under the age of five than any other cancer.

Over 6000 people participated at the event last year : Run2Cure offers a great opportunity for the school community to get fit, have fun and raise awareness of an under-funded aggressive childhood cancer.

School Challenge

Registrations are now open and there is a 10% discount for school teams (Promo Code: SCHOOL1019).  Medals are awarded to all participant, but additional medals are awarded to the top three primary school boys and girls in the 3km, and the top three high school boys and girls in the 5km.

There will also be a school trophy for the winning 3k girls and boys, and 5k girls and boys teams.

Take a look at last year’s winners and their times through the School Challenge page: https://run2cure.org.au/the-run/register-to-run/register-your-school

This page also has downloadable flyers to help promote the event at school, as well as a step-by-step registration guide and an electronic flyer that can be inserted into the school eNewsletter.

There are a range of distances for all levels of fitness and all members of the family: 10k, 5k and 3k timed runs to the 1K Little Heroes Walk (for children under 5) and the 1k dash (for speedy 6 to 10 year olds).

The family fun day will include live entertainment, sports activities, animal presentations from Taronga Zoo, face painting and pony rides.

Thank you for your time and I really hope you get behind this wonderful initiative. Please feel free to contact me with any questions via info@nb.org.au or visit our website www.run2cure.org.au
