YEAR 4 FIELD OF MARS EXCURSION
Year 4 students and teachers from 4LM, 4DG and 4CW had a fantastic time at the Field of Mars excursion last Monday.
Students took a bushwalk through the diverse eucalyptus, mangrove forest and scenic riverbank environments in Lane Cove National Park. They stopped at a variety of sites to explore and record the natural and human features of the reserve including plants, animals, uses, challenges, values and management strategies. This excursion helps to deepen students' geography knowledge about different local environments, their significance and how we can best protect them.
Students and teachers in 4GH, 4CD and 4JD are excited for their excursion to the Field of Mars next Monday!
