It was wonderful to celebrate Public Education Week with you all last week and see our school thrive whilst showcasing our students, teachers, creative arts, learning spaces and playground games with you all. Thank you for showing up and being apart of our outstanding school community and helping celebrate our amazing school. It was wonderful to have everyone here and connect with you throughout the morning. Thank you to our music, dance, choir and Kindergarten teachers for their performances throughout the morning, you were all fabulous!

How much fun was last Wednesday! What a day and what an opportunity to celebrate the Olympics and get the students outside on the new oval engaged in a range of modified Olympic events with friendly competition.

This day would not have been possible without our organising teachers and the effort they went into to make the day such a huge success.

It was great to see the students get involved in the theme of the day.

To add to the above article around celebrating public education and celebrating our school community, I want to take this opportunity to say a massive THANK YOU to our parent volunteers for music camp over the weekend. To those who planned, organised and executed the whole weekend and to those who helped supervise and stay overnight, you are amazing. Experiences and opportunities like this for our children would not happen if it were not for your direct community involvement and support. 

Our student led Green Team over the last couple of years have been running our nude food initiative across the whole school. The reason behind this is to reduce the amount of single use plastic rubbish in our playground. Can I ask that you all please get behind this initiative and support our students as the rubbish in the playground is becoming a significant issue. When packing lunch boxes, please leave the plastic wrapping at home as this helps keep our school clean. Our school bins have a logo on the front, voted by the students that clearly states, 'There is no planet B'!

If you know of anyone in our area who has a child starting Kindergarten in 2025 and they have not started the enrolment process yet, please let them know to do as soon as possible. Our first orientation day for our 2025 students is in two weeks!
