Chess Club Success

The APS Chess Club recently sent a team of 10 players to the local Semi-Finals of the Sydney Academy of Chess’ Interschool Chess Challenge at the Blair Wark VC Community Centre in Lindfield.

Our team won and Oliver Shao (3SK) was the top scoring primary student, scoring 6 out of a possible 7. We are now through to the finals which will be held later this term when five of our highest-scoring players will compete against teams from 11 other primary schools.
