On Sunday 8 September, 14 APS students headed out to UNSW to compete in the annual Tournament of the Minds Challenge. Students participated in one spontaneous challenge, where they had four mins to prepare a one minute presentation, and one long challenge, where they worked collaboratively over six weeks to develop a 10 minute presentation that answered a challenging question. 

Congratulations to 'The Dictionaries'; Teddy Collins, Tommy Liu, Vihaan Kadam, Katie Yi, Flora Qu, Ivy Moon and Will Costello for their fantastic performances that had the judges laughing. And a huge congrats to 'The Storytellers'; Sapphire Li, Nicole Song, Arianna Khan, Sidra Uddin, Claire Gao, Isabella Wu and Ximi Liew who were awarded honours for their imaginative and thoughtful take on why we should never judge people by the way they look.
