PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Happy Thursday to you all,
Apologies our Newsflash, did not get out yesterday, however, with our Celbration of the Arts concert last night, we decided to postpone until today to send out this fortnight's eddition.
Regarding last night's Celebration of the Arts concert, I want to express what we all know: it was absolutely incredible! I couldn’t be prouder to be the principal of this school and witness what can only be described as a spectacular showcase of talent and excellence. While there are many people who deserve personal thanks, what fills me with the most pride is how brilliantly our community came together. From our dedicated teachers, music directors, tutors, P&C volunteers, parents, community members, and most importantly, our talented students, it was a true team effort. Everyone should take pride in their contributions.
Our students were outstanding, and it was such a joy to sit in the audience and watch them shine on stage.
Thank you and congratulations to everyone. What a night, what a school community!
P&C MEETING
Our next P&C meeting wil be held on Wednesday 18th at 7pm online. Please put it in your diaries and come along and hear all the wonderful things our P&C are doing.
ONLINE SAFETY
This week, we’ve unfortunately received reports of our Stage 3 students misusing technology and messaging services, leading to distress and discomfort for others.
While we will address these individual cases, we encourage families to have a conversation at home if your child has access to a device. Discuss the strategies and systems you have in place to ensure their safety online.
Talk with your child about what they access and how they would handle a situation where they felt unsafe online.
Parental involvement is crucial in keeping students safe online. This includes maintaining open communication and ensuring you can monitor their online activity.
