PSSA CRICKET CHAMPIONS
Congratulations to both of our cricket teams - Sydney North Champions!
Our amazing girls knockout cricket team played their Sydney North semi-final against Normanhurst West before progressing to the grand final match against Wheeler Heights Public School. Leading off with some outstanding batting from Myra G and Myra R, the girls set a mammoth task for the opposition of 146 runs. With a skilful bowling display from Siona and Nishika, the girls kept Wheeler Heights to 123 runs and came away with a hard-earned victory. They now progress into the NSW regional competition starting with a match against Gymea Bay Public School tomorrow – Good luck girls!
With another superstar performance from our boys knockout team, we saw them come away victorious in their Sydney North grand final match against Bateau Bay Public School last week. Both Jack and Shubham showed determination and patience leading the boys to a total of 146 runs in their batting innings. With an all-round bowling masterclass, Adish, Yahya, Jack and Aharshi managed to bowl Bateau Bay out for 74 runs. The boys will move on to their match in the NSW regional competition against Riverbank Public School early next week – Good luck boys!
