LIBRARY NEWS
Last weeks of library!
Students had their last opportunity to borrow last week. All books will need to be returned by Monday 9 December. This will allow plenty of time for our books to come back to school before the Summer school holidays and before our Year 6 students move onto high school!
Overdue Reminder Notices
Overdue notices will be sent home via email. This is a reminder to return books only. No payment is expected unless the books are lost or damaged. A $5 donation towards each lost/damaged book can be made via the Parent Portal.
If you believe you have received a notice in error, please contact the library and we will investigate the matter.
NSW Premier’s Reading Challenge
The NSW Premier’s Reading Challenge encourages students to engage with reading for leisure and pleasure, and to read from a wide range of authors, styles and genres. Students who participate in the Challenge are working towards reaching achievable goals, including building their sense of empathy and fostering a love of reading. As a community effort, the Challenge builds connections between students, their families, and the school.
