What an unforgettable term it’s been for the students in the Band Program!

A few weeks ago, our students enjoyed a great weekend of rehearsals and tutorials at the Music Intensive, in preparation for the Sydney Eisteddfod. This culminated in a fantastic concert for parents, showcasing just how much the students have grown over this year.

And the results at the Sydney Eisteddfod speak for themselves. The hard work, dedication and passion of our students truly paid off with some outstanding achievements. They have made themselves and the school incredibly proud.

● Orchestra – 1st place in the Primary School Orchestra category
● Jazz Band – 1st place in the Primary School Stage Band category
● Concert Band – 3rd place in the Primary School Intermediate Concert Band category
● Junior Band – Highly Commended in the Primary School Intermediate Concert Band category
● Senior Band – 1st place in the Primary School Premium Concert Band category

A big thank you to Mr. Walmsley for his unwavering commitment in guiding the students to reach their full potential. We also owe a great deal of gratitude to the amazing parent volunteers for their support and dedication. In particular, Alyson Russell for leading the Music Intensive and Soumya Rao for leading the Band Eisteddfod events. These events would not have been possible without them and their team of volunteers.
