P&C AGM NEXT WEEK 25TH JUNE

Dear Parents and Carers,
We are reaching out to invite you to be part of something truly special – the Artarmon Public School Parents & Citizens (P&C) Association Executive Team. The P&C AGM will be held on the 25th June where ALL committee roles will be up for election. 
When parents get involved in the school P&C , the whole school community benefits—especially our kids. Research shows that children do better at school when their parents are engaged in school life. Being part of the P&C helps parents stay connected, builds a strong sense of community, and ensures that families have a voice in shaping the school’s future. From fundraising and events to supporting key programs and resources, the P&C’s work directly enhances students’ learning experiences and school environment. Every bit of help makes a difference!
Our P&C plays a vital role in supporting the school community, enhancing student experiences, and helping shape the future of our school. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated parents to join the Executive Committee in the following roles:
  • President – Provide leadership, coordinate meetings, and represent the P&C within the school and wider community.
  • Vice President ( 2 roles) – Support the President and take the lead on specific projects or initiatives.
  • Secretary – Manage agendas, minutes, and correspondence to ensure smooth communication.
  • Treasurer – Oversee the P&C’s finances, budgeting, and reporting with transparency.
  • Assistant Treasurer – Support the Treasurer and help manage financial processes.
  • Grants coordinator - Coordinate with P&C members and school staff to identify suitabole grands for school projects, prepare and submit applications with necessary approvals, and manage funded projects through to final reporting. 
  • Uniform convener - Manage the school's seocnd hand uniform shop operations, stock and volunteers (full training provided).

No prior experience is necessary – just a willingness to get involved and make a difference. Full handovers and support will be provided, and you’ll be part of a friendly and committed team working together to support our wonderful school.
