LIFE EDUCATION
The Life Ed (Healthy Harold) van will be visiting Artarmon PS
Everyone's favourite healthy giraffe is visiting Artarmon from this week.
What: Life Ed’s ‘Healthy Harold’ program offers purpose-built, issue-specific and age-appropriate primary school modules designed to engage, inspire and empower students. These modules are delivered face to face and cover a range of topics across the areas of physical health, safety and social and emotional wellbeing. The Life Ed program is designed to be integrated into the primary curriculum and all modules are aligned to the Australian Curriculum Health and Physical Education Learning Area and other Learning Areas and General Capabilities.
When: From this Monday 28 July until Friday 15 August (Weeks 2 to 4 next term.)
Where: The Life Ed program is delivered at school, in a large mobile education space (a van). Each class in the school will visit the van for their session. The Life Ed van will be parked on McMillan Rd, outside the school’s main office, up towards the pedestrian crossing. This will impact the ‘kiss and ride’ zone, so please take extra care during drop off and pick up times and consider using other parking sites around the school.
All students at Artarmon will have the opportunity, with their class, to engage in one of the modules below. K-2 class sessions will be 60 minutes long, and 3-6 sessions will be 90 minutes long.
