Athletics carnival Thursday 27 June – NO rehearsals

Junior, Concert, Senior and Jazz band rehearsals are ALL CANCELLED on 27 June. Good luck to everyone running, jumping and throwing!

Sydney Eisteddfod

Congratulations to all ensembles for their performances at the Sydney Eisteddfod over the last couple of weeks. Some more results:

• Jazz Band came First in their section last week!
• Concert Band was awarded Highly Commended - a great result!
• Junior Band played amazingly - well done!
• Senior Concert Band also sounded fantastic; results are not available at time of writing.

Thank you to Mr Coombes and the school staff who took the students to the Eisteddfod performances. Thank you to all the parent volunteers who transported instruments, went on the train with the students and came along to watch and cheer. Performing is a great experience for the students and can only happen with your support.

Playathon practice period complete! (Training/Junior/Concert/Senior bands)

Now is the time for your child to collect their sponsorship money and return their Playathon practice log. The practice log and sponsorship form should be returned to the Band Box next to the school office. Money may be put in an envelope with the forms or paid directly into the band bank account, instructions are on the Playathon form. All forms and money MUST be returned by Friday 28 June.
