Strings News
Last week of term and what a busy term it’s been! To the kids, well done on your commitment to rehearsals, exams, Mother’s Day concert and eisteddfods. And a special congratulations to the newbies in Training Strings who started their ensemble this term – it’s a steep learning curve, but the rewards will start coming soon.
Thank you to Mr Mansukhani, our tutors, school teachers, parents and volunteers for making the program run smoothly. The results at the eisteddfod should speak for themselves.
Here are some important details for Term 3:
Training Strings – ensemble rehearsal starts Tuesday July 23, first day of school
Ryde Eisteddfod, July 30 – orchestra will be performing in the 2nd week of term. Band uniform required – please see separate email.
No longer going to private classes?
A reminder to all parents that you must give four weeks’ notice and fees to your tutor if you decide to stop private instrument lessons at school. Please discuss this with your ensemble coordinator and Mr Mansukhani before stopping.
