WELCOME BACK

Welcome back to Term 3 everyone. Another busy term is ahead of us with highlights being Education Week, Open Day/Grandparents Day and of course Artarmon Academy.

P&C MEETING

The P&C Meeting is this Wednesday at 7pm in the school Library. All are welcome to attend and catch up on what is happening in our school.

VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS - $145 000

How lucky are we to be part of this learning community that supports our students in their learning. An enormous thank you to all the families that have contributed so far. 

$100 000 of the contributions are allocated to a Learning Support teacher to assist students in Literacy and Numeracy. The teacher is here 5 days per week and has been regularly working with over 30 students in K-6.

We have allocated money in the following areas:

Library Resources - $19 197.00 

Technology -  $ 2722

Numeracy - $2436

Literacy - $6199

Later this term we will need to allocate funds to "top up" our English, Mathematics and Sport resources.

These resources are used by teachers in Yrs K-6 to enhance their learning programs and we are very grateful for the community support.

I will provide another report at the end of term.

SCHOOL SIGNAGE

The school Student Wellbeing team have developed some positive messages for our students and had them placed on the steps outside the music room. 

In partnership with the P&C Multicultural Committee they have also had a new welcome to the school sign made. The new sign has our welcom message in a number of different languages.
