End of Year Concert

Looking forward to the concert on Sunday! Tickets may sell out so if you have not bought one yet do it quickly to avoid disappointment. Details for performers have been emailed to families, please read the information carefully as there is a lot to take in. Remember to take your child to the performer's meeting point, not straight to the performance hall.

Don't forget that all band members wear band uniform for the concert. Remember BLACK SHOES AND SOCKS!!!

Last few days for enrolment for new band students for 2020

If your child would like to join band next year please read the band information pack available online at https://portal.msmusic.com.au/artarmonmusic. It gives details about the program including costs and time commitments, and has instructions about how to register for the band program. Please register your child by Friday 15^th November, as we will hold instrument try-outs the following week to identify a suitable instrument for your child to learn.

Any child who will be in Years 3 to 6 in 2020 may join the band program, no prior musical experience is required. If your child is younger than this we look forward to welcoming them to band in Year 3!

Please complete the 'Re-enrolment' form if your child is in Year 3 to 5

All parents of band members in years 3 – 5 need to complete the online 'Re-enrolment' form to let us know whether your child is continuing in band next year. An email has been sent to all these parents with details. We need this to be completed by 22 November at the latest please, as it takes time to prepare the audition schedule. If your child is leaving band, or leaving the school, we need to know, so please take the time to indicate this on the form – it only takes you a second and really helps us.

Hired Instrument return and reissue

Please put the hired instrument return (Thursday 13 December) and re-issue (Friday 14 December) dates in your diary. ALL hired instruments MUST be returned for our annual audit and service inspection on 13^th December and will ONLY be available for collection for practice over the holidays to continuing students on Friday 14 December. Full instructions will be emailed to instrument hirers.
