CAROLS NIGHT - SAVE THE DATE
The bands, string ensembles, guitar groups and choirs will help us celebrate Christmas with our traditional carols night on FRIDAY 7 DECEMBER AT 6PM.
PRESENTATION DAYS
Each year Artarmon Public School have Presentation Day Assemblies. At these assemblies we honour the academic achievements of children from our school. Each class teacher has six medals to distribute. These include:
Two for High Academic Achievement, one for Mathematics, one for English, one for Citizenship and one for another Key Learning Area (KLA).
There are also grade awards for Overall Citizenship and ESL (English as a Second Language).
Teachers use results from class assessments, observations and collaborative discussions with the grade team and supervisor, to decide upon the award winners.
As you would appreciate, teachers take the presentation of achievement awards very seriously and spend many hours reviewing the data and in discussions to ensure the medals are given to deserving winners.
