Dear parents,

At the September 2019 P&C meeting a P&C Hygiene Committee was formed to address a number of issues and concerns around toilet hygiene issues. The committee has been working closely with Principal Mrs Green with teachers and staff to improve school toilet hygiene.

To maintain appropriate hygiene standard of our school toilets we have identified a few areas that we need to work on but we can’t do this alone! We are calling on all parents to talk to their children. We have identified 3 key areas that if improved, we believe would greatly improve overall standards.

Talk to your children about:

1.       Flushing the  toilet and washing hands
2.       Report any toilet malfunction or issues to the school office immediately
3.       Use the toilets appropriately and not to  flush anything down the toilets that doesn’t belong there.

As parents, please note that adults are NOT allowed to enter student toilet due to safety reasons.
