Strings parents, please remember to check Newsflash regularly for upcoming events and important updates. We will publish advance dates as soon as we know them to help you plan your year.

The strings program is only open to Year 3 students and above. To date all spots have been filled so please come back next year for the next intake.

Creative Kids Voucher

The Artarmon P&C music program is a registered provider of the Creative Kids voucher. An email has been sent with instructions on how to use your Creative Kids Voucher for Strings.

If you will be taking advantage of this, your first step is to:

Apply for a voucher for your child on the Service NSW website:  go to https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-creative-kids-voucher.

Please log into the Parent Portal and provide details by completing the form online. If you wish to use the Creative Kids Voucher you must pay $100 less than your invoice total. We will then credit the $100 against your invoice when we have redeemed the voucher from Service NSW. This only applies to school ensemble fees and not tuition fees.

Helping with the Strings – Volunteers needed

All the administration of the strings program is completed entirely by volunteers.  We need a number of new parent volunteers for 2020 to fill empty roles.  The more people who help out, the less any single person has to do!  Remember, the smooth running of band relies on a dedicated team of parent volunteers who connect with the school community & gain a better understanding of the music program & observe the amazing musical progress of the students.

THANK YOU to all the parents who have already stepped in to help with the running of Strings 2020.

The 4 roles that still need to be filled are listed below, please respond with which role would suit you and your available time best.
