PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
What a term it has been! There have been many changes over the past few months and we should all be proud of how we have managed those as a community. Our students are now settled back into school and are doing well.
STAFF DEVELOPMENT DAY - MONDAY 20 JULY.
STUDENTS RETURN TO SCHOOL - TUESDAY 21 JULY
One of the many positives to come out of the Covid crisis has been the Drop and Go and Pick Up and Go. With children coming into the school quickly it has meant that classes start a lot quicker and learning has begun. It must also be easier for parents to drop off and head off to work.
The pick up has been easier too. We cannot continue indefinitely with that strategy but you might like to agree that you meet your children on the Oval each day. Thank you for all your support this term.
This week we farewell Mrs Keevers as she moves to Balgowlah North as Principal. Congratulations again Mrs Keevers, the students and community at Balgowlah are very lucky to have you.
EDUCATION WEEK 2020
We are unsure of what we will be doing for Education Week this year as we await further information from the Department. I will let you know as soon as I know.
ARTARMON ACADEMY
Artarmon Academy for 3-6 will begin in Week 5 next term. Stage One students will begin in Week 2. I will send information about this next term.
CROSS COUNTRY AND ATHLETICS CARNIVAL
We will be having a 'fun' cross country carnival next term. Whilst there will not be a Zone , Regional or State competition.
The same will apply with the Athletics Carnival. We will be having a day at ES Marks field where we will have some races and also athletic events. Check the school calendar for dates.
PSSA
PSSA competitions will begin next term and the same restrictions apply as at school - no parents are allowed to attend the games.

ENJOY A GREAT BREAK AND SEE YOU ALL BACK AT SCHOOL ON 21 JULY.
