RELIEVING PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
THANK YOU TO OUR ENTIRE SCHOOL COMMUNITY
As a school we continue to reflect on our year and continually plan, develop and implement high quality learning experiences that are purposeful and impactful for your child/ren.
This term again, has provided us with many challenges that we continue to overcome, to be able to continue to provide an amazing environment for our staff and children to come to every day to work and learn. We understand that it has been different and difficult this year with limited parent involvement and interaction. Nonetheless, we as a school want to say a huge thank you to parents, grandparents and carers for your continued support.
We will continue to communicate any changes regarding Department of Education guidelines through our Newsletter, school app and email at the beginning of Term 4.
We wish you all a wonderful and relaxing holiday. Enjoy the Spring weather and ensure everyone returns, relaxed and ready for a fabulous Term 4. The first day of Term 4 is Monday 12th October.
BEST WISHES TO MRS NICOL
Mrs Nicol is finishing up today to go on maternity leave before welcoming her second child into her family. We wish Mrs Nicol and her family all the best with this exciting addition.
Mrs Sestak, who has been job sharing KNS thoughout the year will be replacing Mrs Nicol full time on KNS.
SMART WATCHES AT SCHOOL
There have been a few students at school wearing watches with the capacity to take pictures, videos and call or text family members. I am sure you would all understand the child protection and privacy issues that the school has with students having these watches. We understand that some families use these watches in place of a mobile phone to be able to contact their child/ren. However, as with mobile phones, these are not to be accessed during school hours and need to be turned off and placed in the students bag until the conclusion of the school day.
