OFFICIAL HALL OPENING

The official opening went well on Friday. Unfortunately the weather did not lend itself to the picnic so we have cancelled and are setting another date. On that date all parents are welcome to take a tour of the new school hall.

P&C AGM AND GENERAL MEETING TONIGHT 

7pm in the staff room. All are welcome to join in and hear reports from committees and the school.

SCHOOL COMMUNICATION

Artarmon Public School is a large school. There are 48 classes now and communicating with teachers and parents has its challenges. Could I please remind parents that when the bell goes in the morning  teachers have the responsibility for the students and that becomes complex if there are many parents waiting to see their children go into class. 

We encourage parents to see their children settled with their friends and then leave the school so that the teacher on duty can see clearly what is happening in the playground.

If you need to chat with the teacher please make an appointment to do so.

SCHOOL TOILETS

Can I please remind parents that the school toilets are for children only. NO ADULT should be inside the student toilet blocks. Whilst we understand you may be in there with your own child, we encourage other children to notify us if there is a stranger in that space.

TRANSLATIONS

Our Newsflash and website  are important ways we communicate with our community.

They all have Google Translate so that our community members have options to access information. Please encourage friends and family to use this facility.
