Artarmon Public School was founded in 1910 and now occupies a split site.

There is a broad socio-economic range within the school community. The student population is diverse with 55% of pupils coming from non-English speaking backgrounds. The school has a reputation for excellence in academic achievement and music. It is also a centre for opportunity classes.

School hours:

  • 8:30am—student supervision begins
  • 8:55am—classes begin
  • 10:55am to 11:20am—recess
  • 12:50pm to 1:40pm—lunch
  • 2:55pm—school finishing time
